Kristin founded Rêve in 2009, seeing the need to create a new breed of strategy consultancy: one that co-created the future with robust, integrated methodology and lots of heart.
Over the past 15 years, Kristin has worked alongside her team and clients to build an award-winning, purpose-driven organization. Known for her expertise in strategy, change management, business transformation and her thought leadership in the field of service design, Kristin is an expert in unlocking and delivering significant value for her clients through identifying, designing, and delivering winning strategies and services.
Kristin started her career at General Mills, holding increasingly broader financial roles in information technology, sales, and brand marketing. In 1998, she joined GE, leading several strategic business initiatives as a Six Sigma Master Black Belt. As Vice President of Product Services, Kristin met the challenge of designing and deploying an enterprise process reengineering and outsourcing effort.
In 2002, Carlson Companies recruited Kristin to help launch an enterprise-wide improvement and innovation strategy to position the company for growth. In 2005, Kristin was promoted to the executive team of Carlson Hotels Worldwide. Here, she built and integrated the strategy, brand, innovation, and continuous improvement functions.
Driven by seeing people thrive, Kristin is passionate about building great teams and cultures. She believes that team members should have the chance to do what they do best every day, and as a certified Professional Co-Active Coach, she helps guide them toward achieving their shared and individual goals.
Kristin holds an MBA in strategic management and finance from the University of Minnesota and a BA in business and economics from Wheaton College. She is part of the Carlson School of Management’s Educator Network and is a certified Black Belt and Master Facilitator. The Minneapolis St. Paul Business Journal named her a Woman To Watch and included her in Twin Cities Business magazine’s 100 People to Know list.
Kristin is a board member of Rêve Academy, an innovative digital out-of-school program she co-founded with her partner, Brad Von Bank.
