Ideating and Testing an Enhanced Digital Experience that Drives New Acquisition

Working alongside a leading financial services organization to develop new solutions that drive client growth.

Challenge

Deliver an enhanced digital experience to prospective investors that provides more immediate value and drives account creation and new client acquisition.

Approach

We researched, ideated concepts, built concepts, tested, refined, and designed future state blueprints based on key investing needs (JTBD) and value exchange touch points.

Moments that Matter

We developed twelve concepts. Ultimately, the team decided on four they wanted to test with 300 individuals that match their ideal potential clients. In all four concepts tested, over 75% of participants believed the concepts would help them execute one of their JTBD. The four key needs that we heard repeated were:

  • Vetting the basics of performance
  • Explore the functionality of tools
  • Learn about the company's expertise
  • Receive portfolio advice

Result

In the qualitative research survey, after engaging with one of the concepts 70% of participants said they would likely open an account. This demonstrates a strong potential market for the concept and early signs of implementation in 2024 that could lead to serious new client acquisition and growth.
