As Director of Creative + Service Design, Carter works alongside clients to understand, visualize, and prototype their big ideas through powerful, human-centered storytelling that drives engagement, accelerates growth, and transforms mindsets.
Creative director. Storyteller. Puffy vest collector. Almost-famous flag designer. Carter is a veteran creative with over 20+ years of experience with a love for coaching the next generation of creative leaders–and a well-timed pun or dad joke.
For over 10 years, Carter has led the charge for all things creative at Rêve as a leader on our Client Services team. He co-creates alongside the Rêve team and our clients to develop actionable strategies, deliver engaging deliverables, and empower clients as storytellers.
Currently, As the Director, Creative + Service Design, he leads the service design practice and team of service designers to deliver human-centered, strategic creative for our clients. Working across all industries and projects, Carter leads the team’s capabilities to recognize, craft, and weave each story together with simplicity and clarity.
Carter and his wife, Kristi, live in Brooklyn Park and stay active with their 3 children, Hatch (14), Lachlan (11), and Poppy (7), with school, sports, and after-school activities.
Carter holds an MFA in Media Design from Full Sail University and a BS in Graphic Design from the University of Northwestern-St. Paul.
