Despite advances in healthcare and technology, there will always be opportunities for companies to develop effective ideas that make living a healthy lifestyle even more convenient. When Target issued a nationwide challenge for ways to help Target simplify healthcare in America, Rêve answered with an idea for healthy take-n-make food options available in a refreshed Target café experience.
Submissions were judged by a panel of experts and thought leaders representing healthcare, retail, and technology. From a pool of several hundred entries, the Simply Balanced Café was chosen as one of two national winners in the “Positive Lifestyle” category, as it extended the Target brand experience beyond convenience into healthcare transformation at an individual, family, and community scale.
As a Simplicity Challenge Winner, Rêve received $25,000, as well as the opportunity to collaborate with Target on the implementation of the Simply Balanced Café concept. Rêve donated a large portion of the proceeds to its non-profit, Rêve Academy, an out-of-school program focused on providing a pathway to digital careers. Rêve Consulting also donated a portion of the proceeds to other community organizations.
