Jun 01 Give-away: Happy #ServiceDesignDay to Our Favorite Orgs!
At Rêve, we believe that services and experiences are the lifeline between organizations and the people they serve. That’s why we think a lot about how to improve and create entirely new service experiences, and why we couldn’t be happier to celebrate international Service Design Day today.
All over the world, people are celebrating great service experiences today. Here in Minneaplis, we thought we’d send our favorite local organizations a token of our appreciation by sharing some of our favorite books of the moment.
After polling our team, here are the winners:
Delightful Experience – Mother Earth Gardens
Digital silicon-valley style start-ups tend to shine in this category, but our winner is decidedly analog: Mother Earth Gardens in Northeast Minneapolis. What makes the experience great? A well-curated selection of plants at reasonable prices, artfully arranged in a magical space by a knowledgable team. We were impressed by their honest and no-frills advice which prevented one team member from buying unnecessary fertilizer, and helped another team member select a product that the owner had personally tested in her garden. And at check-out, buyers of shrubs and trees are gifted with a delightful little surprise that helps them spread the love into their gardens. Runner-Ups: Tank Goodness Cookies, Carousel Motor Group and Peddle.
Most Admired Community Partner – YMCA Twin Cities
Congrats to YMCA Twin Cities, which carried the vote in a category of many deserving organizations. From all of Team Rêve, thank you for your commitment to making a positive impact in the world and our community! Runner-ups: Northside Achievement Zone, Pollen and Big River Farms.
Favorite Restaurant / Happy Hour – Tattersal Distilling
This one goes to our friends and neighbors at Tattersall Distilling, whose delightful drink menu is a perennial favorite among Rêvers. Runner-ups: Tilia, Bar La Grassa, Pig Ate My Pizza, and Punch Pizza.
